WE ARE A NEW CHURCH IN LEE

The members of the Lee Congregational Church have graciously opened their doors to host the Anglican Church of the Resurrection. ACR is a welcoming church family sharing God's presence with the prople of Lee and beyond. Formerly meeting at the Pease Tradeport, ACR holds a great deal in common with other Christian denominations. Like other Protestant churches, they honor God's Word in the Bible, and they share weekly Commmunion and worship like Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. UPDATED NEWS ABOUT OUR OUTREACH MISSION AT CROSS ROADS (submitted by Betsy)

On Thursday June 23rd, our servers Steve, David, Frank and Betsy served 58 meals at Cross Roads. Ours was a new recipe and I was wondering just how it would go over. There were very few families which is the first group to be served. When 3 of the family members including 2 teenagers walked from their table to get seconds, my wondering ceased and I knew we would be allright. Thanks so much to all who volunteered and especially the cooks, Lesley, Pat, Jo, Joanne, Steve, Ellen and Betsy. Your hard work was and is well appreciated. Thank you for sharing your blessings with those who are in need. It is a pleasure to work with you on this church mission.
